Hiking and biking in beautiful Moffat County

Moffat County offers hundreds of miles of trails for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy. Trails and trail conditions vary from the very easy, such as short day hike, suitable for all ages, to the very difficult scramble routes recommended for the experienced and physically fit.

Hikers and bikers, regardless of age or experience, should go prepared. Carry water and some sort of sun protection. Weather in Colorado mountain country and high prairies can change very quickly from fair warm conditions to cold and wet.
